About the Event:
Watercolor A to Z is an in-person art program that will take your watercolor skills from the very basics to the mastery of the medium. Discover how to use the correct supplies, learn about value, blending color and shading. You’ll learn the combinations of wetness of the paper and paint, underpainting and layering. Learn how to do various backgrounds and then you will finish with the best tips and fun techniques all while gaining new friends and relationships. This is an 8-week course; six of the eight lessons required attendance to participate. All supplies are included—twenty-person maximum cap.
Session 2 EFG: Explore Fruit and Greenery focuses on creating a simple still life with fruit in a bowl or add greenery. Practice layering of color and add a background and foreground.
How to Join:
This is a recurring in-person class on Saturdays. You will need to register separately for each class you are interested in attending. Please note that you must be signed in to your AARP.org account or create an account to register for events. AARP membership is not required.
