We’ll explore the different types of long term care - and how to choose one.
About the Event
Have you noticed that as your parents age you need to assume some responsibility for their well-being? Has your spouse been diagnosed with a disease that will require you to aid with daily activities and medical oversight? Do you have a child with special needs? Are you the back-up caregiver for a friend or family member?
If any of these situations apply, this eight-part series is designed to help guide and strengthen you in your role as a caregiver. Session three will walk you through the different types of nursing home facilities and how to find the best one for your loved one’s needs.
A light dinner at 5:00 p.m. will be followed by a workshop at 6:00 p.m. Respite care for loved ones will be provided during the one-hour workshops.
