The first session in our eight-part series will explore different types of caregiving.
About the Event
Have you noticed that as your parents age, you need to assume some responsibility for their well-being? Has your spouse been diagnosed with a disease that will require you to aid with daily activities and medical oversight? Do you have a child with special needs? Are you the back-up caregiver for a friend or family member?
If your answer to any of these questions is “yes,” our eight-part series of Care for Caregivers workshops is designed to help guide you and strengthen you in your role as a caregiver. Session One: The Caregiver Role will cover different types of caregiving and give an overview of what the caregiver role is.
A light dinner at 5:00 p.m. will be followed by the workshop at 6:00 p.m. Respite care for loved ones will be provided during the one-hour workshops.
