Thirty-one percent of Wisconsinites do not operate a motor vehicle according the the Wisconsin DOT and it is known that the typical American outlives their ability to drive by 7-10 years. While the cost of car ownership is becoming an increasing financial burden on households.

But how easy is your community to navigate if you do not, or can not, operate an automobile? AARP developed the Walk Audit Tool Kit to help you understand just this question.

AARP's Director of Livable Communities, Mike Watson, joins Amber Miller to discuss the recently updated Walk Audit Tool Kit and how communities are using it to better understand their transportation infrastructure.
