By 2035, the United States will, for the first time ever, be a country comprised of more older adults than of children. AARP Livable Communities initiative address issues such as land use, housing, transportation and broadband — all of which facilitate aging in place. We support the efforts of neighborhoods, towns, cities, counties and entire states to become more livable and age-friendly for people of all ages.
