About the Event
Join AARP VT on a behind-the-scenes tour at Shelburne Farms to discover the art and science of cheesemaking.
Watch the cheesemakers at the Farm Barn cheesemaking facility turn the raw milk into cheddar cheese. At a private cheese tasting, taste the flavors of the farm in a guided sampling of cheddar. Then, visit the dairy, meet the cows that make the milk, and find out how Shelburne Farms cares for the landscape, pastures, and Brown Swiss herd.
Please bring comfortable shoes and a water bottle.
Parking and the tour meeting location is the Welcome Center & Farm Store located at 1611 Harbor Rd in Shelburne, VT.
