The second class in our four-session series explores how to hold yourself and move correctly to avoid back pain.
About the Event
Gain a deeper understanding of how the different parts of the body are connected and how to exercise more efficiently in our four-part Mindful Movement series on Mondays in April.
This class will explore how to hold yourself, stabilize your core and move properly to avoid back pain and injury. We’ll cover:
- Common types of back pain
- Causes of back pain
- Tools that can help you ease and manage back pain
Movement exercises focus on back mobility and building core strength. Please consult your physician before beginning any new exercise regimen.
The class is facilitated by Julia Fuller, a certified personal trainer and health coach, a fitness nutrition specialist and a specialist in corrective exercise and biomechanics.
NOTE: This class is a combination of presentation and demonstration, it is not an exercise class.
Other classes in the series:
- 4/8: Alignment & Posture
- 4/22: Improving Shoulder & Hip Rotation to Strengthen and Manage Pain
- 4/29: Get in Touch with Your Foundation
