About the Event
Join AARP Nevada on Saturday, Oct. 12, between 9:00 a.m. and noon PT for free document shredding and electronics recycling! Simply drive up, open your trunk, and we'll empty your boxes into the shredding truck for you. Limit: three bankers boxes (or equivalent) per vehicle.
Acceptable shred items include:
- Paper
- Folders, hanging folders and manilla folders
- Window envelopes
- Spiral notebooks
- Elastics and rubber bands
- Clips, binder clips and staples
Batteries, three-ring binders, CDs and DVDs, cardboard, plastic (sheet protectors, credit cards, etc.), hard drives and any other non-recyclable items cannot be shredded and should not be brought to this event.
Acceptable electronics include:
- Computers
- Laptops
- iPad/tablets
- Cell Phones
- Cords and Cables
- Flat screen monitors
