Virtual Healthy Cooking with AARP Rhode Island
Join AARP Rhode Island for a virtual healthy cooking class with a dash of Rhode Island flavor! Chef Mary Weaver of Newport Cooks will be preparing Wild Mushroom & Butternut Squash Wellington on Thursday, November 12, 2020 from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. via the Zoom platform. The dish can be prepared as an entrée or a side dish and is provided just in time to add as a wonderful vegetarian choice to your Thanksgiving dinner. The recipe calls for easy to find ingredients, and quick prep and cooking time to enjoy within the hour.
Come prepare the dish with Mary that evening or observe to make at a later date. Mary will share some culinary tips and answer questions to suit your individual palate.
