INTRODUCTION TO CAREGIVING: WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN YOU WEREN’T EXPECTING TO TAKE CARE OF A LOVED ONE
Do you help a family member with: grocery shopping? Yard work? Getting a medical appointment? If you answered YES to any of these, you are one of over 42 million Americans who are providing care for a loved one. Most of us don’t realize that we are a caregiver until we are in the middle of providing care. Join us to kick-off our monthly virtual brown bag series on family caregiving. Yvonne Smith, social worker and family caregiver, will talk about what it means to be to provide care for a loved one and offer tips for those who are or may be looking ahead to assist family members. Come learn and bring your questions about common caregiving issues. This event takes place over Zoom. Once you register you will receive the log-in information with your registration confirmation.
