Your voice is important, and we want to help your voice be heard! AARP would like to invite you to participate in our annual AARP Oklahoma Legislative Update on March 13 and AARP Lobby Day on March 14. Join us for the AARP Oklahoma Legislative Update on Wednesday, March 13, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Oklahoma History Center. You will learn more about AARP’s state and national advocacy priorities, AARP’s work to keep electricity rates affordable and how you can get involved to make a difference in your community. Dinner is provided with pre-registration. **Please note that this is a venue change from years' past. The Oklahoma History Center is located at 800 Nazih Zundi Drive, Oklahoma City (located across the street east of the Oklahoma State Capitol.)** The following day, March 14, you will have the opportunity to meet with state representatives and senators at the State Capitol to discuss the issues that are important to you. Breakfast will be provided. Breakfast begins at 8 a.m., and legislative visits will follow. For our day at the Capitol on the 14th, please park in the south parking lot of the Capitol and use the south entrance. If you are staying at the Embassy Suites, a complimentary shuttle service will run periodically to the Capitol and back which can be coordinated with the front desk. The Oklahoma Capitol is located at 2300 N. Lincoln Blvd. in Oklahoma City. We hope to see you there!
