About the Event

Balance Bootcamp is a fun class for participants age 50+ who want to improve their balance and become stronger and more agile. It will provide exercises that are designed to help you strengthen and tone your muscles while also gaining stability and coordination. This class concentrates on the neurological aspect of balance as well as on fine and gross motor skills, which tend to decrease with age. 

The bootcamp is part of AARP New York’s IndoRican Dance & Fitness program, which will also feature Stretch & Alignment and Cardio Fit classes. Each one-hour session is meant to promote health, well-being and social interaction with other participants. Please consult your physician before starting any new exercise regimen.
