You will learn:
Defensive driving techniques; proven safety strategies; new traffic laws and rules of the road; plus, there are no tests to pass. Upon completion, you could receive a multi-year discount on your car insurance.

To receive your Driver Safety Certificate, after the completion of the course, here’s what we need from you during the registration process:

  • Name
  • AARP Number (if you have one)
  • Address (So we can mail you your course certificate)
  • City, State and Zip code
  • Driver’s License Number
  • Date of Birth

You will also need to mail a check for $20 (AARP MEMBER) or $25 for non-member, prior to the beginning of the course on April 2nd.  MAKE THE CHECK OUT TO AARP.

Mail your payment to your instructor prior to the beginning of the course on April 2nd:

Mike Roberts, AARP State Coordinator
1783 Bridlegate Avenue
Henderson, NV 89012-3252

Mike will be your instructor.  He will mail your guide book to you one week before the class and will mail your certificate to you when you have completed the course.  Should something come up where you cannot take the class, your check will be mailed back to you.

Remember, on April 2, 2021 from 9:30 AM to 10:00am get acquainted with Zoom functions. The course will begin 10:00am and complete by 2:00 PM.  This first class is limited to the first 20 to register.

We would like you to sign into Zoom 30 minutes early so our course producer can walk you through the Zoom class, how to mute and unmute yourself and how to use the chat function to ask questions or to answer each poll question as it comes up in each unit.

To take a Zoom class, you will need the following:

Computer or pad which has a camera and a speaker
Internet connection
