We invite caregivers (and anyone else in need of time to recharge) to spend time tapping into their creative side.
About the Event
In acknowledgment of family caregivers, an important resource when it comes to helping loved ones age in place, AARP New Hampshire is sponsoring a virtual Paint and Sip class hosted by Paint and Sip VT. Anyone else in need of a break is welcome to join, too!
Grab your favorite beverage and follow step-by-step guidance as you try your hand at painting October Pumpkins. AARP will also provide a brief presentation about available caregiving resources.
Supplies:
- A canvas, canvas board, or acrylic paper (recommend 9"x 12" or 11" x 14" but any size works).
- Easel (optional)
- Acrylic paints: red, blue, yellow, white and black; green is optional (we will also blend it in class)
- 3-5 brushes, from large to fine-detail sizes
- Pencil for composition sketching
- A cup of water to rinse brushes
- Small plate to mix colors
- Paper towels
