Join fellow AARP members for a tour of the Arborcrest Gardens! Arborcrest Gardens is a 26-acre botanical research garden located minutes from King Street in Boone, NC. Arborcrest is a 501(c)(3) non-profit private garden and opens its doors on many Fridays for tours by advance reservation. Tours are conducted in open-air electric vehicles and drivers provide an interesting commentary on many of the 15,000 species and varieties of trees, shrubs, perennials, ground covers and bulbs in the garden.
