About the Event
You’re invited to attend the AARP Mississippi CARES Conference, where special guests will give family caregivers information, firsthand knowledge and access to local resources so they can take better care of themselves and their loved ones.
The goal of this conference is to empower attendees coping with Alzheimer’s disease with practical health advice, tools and takeaways by fostering an open dialogue, offering support and helping them recognize the condition's symptoms. There will be a chance for you to experience a Virtual Dementia Tour, which walks participants through the progression that Alzheimer's patients may go through as the disease advances.
