AARP in St. Louis Trail Trekkers℠
Let’s hit the trail...Spend a Saturday morning with AARP in St. Louis on a guided hike at Cuivre River State Park.
Our Trail Trekkers℠ program explores a different trail each month. Our hiking team will take care of everything – you just need your comfortable hiking shoes/boots, water, and sense of adventure!
Check in starts at 8:30 am. The hike will start at 9:00 a.m. and end around noon.
Bring sunglasses, sunscreen and repellant. A hat and hiking poles are good options to consider. In addition, everyone must bring their own supply of water - we will all need it!
Good hiking boots or very sturdy walking shoes are encouraged. (No loafers). This trail may be rugged in places.
Register by clicking on the registration button. You will have a great experience, meet new people and fit in some exercise on a Saturday morning!
Cuivre River State Park is 6425 acres of rugged Ozark-like terrain you can explore more than 30 miles of trails. Along the way you’ll see clear streams, springs, bluff overlooks, glades and patches of tall grass prairie.
Don’t delay…Space is limited!
