Dr. Bennett has over 30 years’ experience in the music field and is an accomplished pianist. She will discuss the legendary Charlie Parker, as a saxophonist and composer who revolutionized the genre with his pioneering bebop style, which changed the landscape of modern jazz forever. A Q&A will follow Dr. Bennett's presentation.
