Learn about dementia-related behaviors — a form of communication — and discover nonmedical ways to respond with compassion. When might you need added support?
About the Event
Dementia can bring changes in behavior that may be confusing or difficult for both the individuals affected and their caregivers. This session, presented in collaboration with the Alzheimer's Association, explores common behavior changes and how they are often a form of communication.
Participants will learn about nonmedical approaches for responding to behavior change with patience and understanding, as well as how to recognize that additional help may be needed. Gain practical strategies that can help caregivers reduce stress, strengthen connections and support their loved ones with greater confidence.
