Celebrate Boise Basque People’s history and vibrant culture! Visit the Museum and Cyrus Jacobs/Uberuaga House, one of the boardinghouses where solitary, hard-working immigrant sheepherders gathered in winter, marrying strong Basque women, to start families forming one of the largest Basque communities in the American West.
