More than 442,000 adults in Hawaii (41.5 percent of the population) have prediabetes, making them at risk for getting Type 2 diabetes* within 10 years. The good news is that this condition is reversible with lifestyle modifications such as diet, exercise and medication. Join a fun, interactive session that will provide you with information that can help you recognize the signs of pre-diabetes and provide tips about lifestyle changes you could make now that could prevent you from becoming diabetic later.
