Get a 20 Minute Carfit Check Up.

Learn how you can increase your comfort and safety in your car!

CarFit is designed to help older drivers understand how to adapt themselves and their car in a way that maximizes their control of the vehicle as well as offering the most protection in the event of a crash.

This event if for licensed drivers age 65 and older who own a registered vehicle. If you fit these criteria, we hope you will consider participating in this program being presented by the Occupational Therapy Association of Hawaii and AARP.  

Trained technicians will lead you through a 15-20 minute, 12-point checklist with your vehicle, recommend car adjustments and adaptations and offer community specific resources and activities that could make your vehicle “fit” better and enhance your safety. Occupational therapists or driver rehabilitation specialists will also be on hand to provide information on how to better adapt your vehicle to your driving profile.

Register for a 20 minute check up between 8:00 AM and 11:20 AM.
