This in-person screening is more than just a film—it's cinematic journey through the roots of salsa in New York, its birthplace, and its transformation in Cali, Colombia, where this musical genre is experienced as a collective passion that defines the city's identity. Featuring legends such as Rubén Blades, Henry Fiol, Alfredo Linares, Ángel Lebrón, Grupo Niche, and other great exponents, 'La Salsa Vive' shows how this rhythm has transformed lives, becoming a refuge and inspiration for entire generations.
