Rising along the northern flanks of the Palmer Divide, Cherry Creek starts out as a quiet prairie stream, eventually rising to become ‘the Tiger of the Prairie.’ Its past has been beneficial and incredibly destructive for those along its flanks.
We’ll get you close to this often-overlooked waterway that has been so long associated with our history. From the beauty of the prairie in Douglas County to the busy skyscrapers lining its length in downtown Denver, Cherry Creek has watched the history of the Front Range march by along its shores.
