We’re entering a new era of aging. People are living and working longer than ever before.
●By 2035, there will be more people age 65 and older than under age 18
●In the U.S., 56 cents of every dollar is spent by adults age 50 and older – this is expected to rise to 61 cents by 2050
●By 2030, 1 in 3 individuals between 65 and 74 will be part of the overall workforce
At the same time, societal perceptions of aging have not kept pace with these shifts in longevity, as age discrimination in the workplace remains costly and ageist stereotypes are perpetuated in the public dialogue.
Join us for this interactive presentation that challenges individuals of all ages to examine aging trends and the importance of building equity in longevity, discover what healthy aging means to them, and explore opportunities to live their best life
