Explore the life and films of the master of suspense Alfred Hitchcock in this free online talk from the Lifetime Learning Institute of Northern Virginia.
About the Event
Alfred Hitchcock made more than 50 feature films, bringing style, humor and most of all suspense, to audiences on both sides of the Atlantic. In this class, Dan Sherman, a retired Ph.D. economist who has presented talks on theater and film to many lifelong learning groups around the Washington D.C. area, will discuss the master director’s life and his approach to making films. We’ll watch clips from some of his most popular movies, including Rebecca, The Man Who Knew Too Much, Vertigo, North by Northwest, Psycho and The Birds.
This online program is offered by the Lifetime Learning Institute of Northern Virginia, which is affiliated with Northern Virginia Community College.
