Celebrating 90 years of Social Security,a lasting legacy of support that has uplifted millions. Now more than ever, we must protect and strengthen it for future generations.
On August 14, 1935, President Franklin D. Roosevelt signed the Social Security Act. This year marks the 90th anniversary of that landmark legislation, and with that anniversary comes recognition of the benefits that Social Security brings to Americans everywhere.
Social Security at 90 is a lifeline, and we have a responsibility to strengthen it, particularly given the current challenges it faces.
Please join us and AARP Chapter 3237 as we commemorate the 90th anniversary.
