Metamora-Hadley Recreation Area

Metamora-Hadley Recreation Area consists of 723 acres with 80-acre Lake Minnewanna in the center Campers, hikers, boaters, anglers, hunters, cross-country skiers and others enjoy a wide variety recreational opportunities throughout the year. The park has a universally accessible fishing pier.

Activities:Bike Rental: For more details, call the concession at 810-797-2300.Cross-Country Skiing: More than six miles of marked trails meander through the woods and fields of the park Trails are not groomed.Boat Rental:Row boats, kayaks and canoes can be rented at the Metamora-Hadley Campground Store and Beach Concession between Memorial Day and Labor Day. Reservations available and special group services are offered.All boats, including kayaks, can be rented for $10 per hour. Canoes and row boats can be rented for $25 per four hours or $40 for the day. A $20 deposit and driver's license are required at time of rental.
