Memorial Day Weekend at Illinois Railway Museum

About the Event

We are excited to announce that the Nebraska Zephyr will be operating dinner trips on Memorial Day Weekend!

The menu will begin with bruschetta, followed by a green Italian salad. The evening's main entree will be chicken parmesan on spaghetti with Italian green beans. A choice of Italian deserts will be offered. Your ticket includes access to the museum on the day of the event and a choice of nonalcoholic beverages. The museum will allow passengers to bring one bottle of wine per couple, and our crew will be happy to serve it to you.

Pricing is set at $129 per person, or $649 for a party up to 4, seated exclusively in the parlor car Juno, famously featured in A League of Their Own.

The dinner train will board at the East Union Depot. Please arrive at the museum no later than 4:30 PM the day of your trip. Find information on visiting IRM, and a map of the grounds, here.

Museum Hours:
Trains operate hourly 11:00am to 4:00pm or more often as needed.
The Museum grounds open at 10:00am and close at 6:00pm.
The parking lot opens at 9:30am and closes at 6:30pm.

Daily Admission Rates:
Adults $20.00, Seniors and Youths $18.00, Children $16.00
