Memorial Day Celebration at Snowshoe Mountain Resort

About the Event

Celebrate the long weekend and the start of summer with us at our Island in the Sky. We'll have all of our activities open including the Raven Golf Club, Shaver's Lake, and Snowshoe Bike Park in addition to other family fun activities and events. Plus, live music and a spectacular mountaintop firework show.

Schedule:

8:00am: Village Plaza - Ruff Race Presented by The North Face
Join us for the Ruff Race, a pet friendly 5k around the mountain with prizing from The North Face.

Time to get your paws in the dirt! Well, your feet and your furry friend's paws. Ruff Race is a chill-as-you-like 5k around Snowshoe for you and your best friends. This course starts in the Village, winds through loamy Spruce forest, and ends back in the Village. Prizing for this event is provided by The North Face.

12:30pm: Village Plaza - Live Music Featuring Shane Meade
Shane is a gifted singer/songwriter and touring musician. Shane will captivate the imagination with his inspirational lyrics and soulful style.

2:30pm: Village Plaza - Live Music Featuring Matt Mullins
Matt hails from Beckley, WV, with howling harmonics, raw blues guitar, and stellar vocals.

4:30pm: Village Plaza - Live Music Featuring Hunter Lepi
Hunter Lepi is a solo musician and songwriter who focuses on guitar and harmonics.

8:45pm: Village Plaza - Movie Under the Stars
Join us in the Village for The Super Mario Bros. Movie. This movie is rated PG.
