CT Race in the Park

About the Event

The CT RACE IN THE PARK returns in-person to historic Walnut Hill Park this Mother’s Day Weekend.  The beloved annual tradition is back and better than ever!  Participants can support this great cause and be a part of the action by choosing from the 5K Run or the 4K/1 Mile Walk.

Kids are encouraged to get in on the action too and sign up for the Kids Fun Run.

-OR- Sign up for the Virtual 5k and Run/walk a 5K at your leisure and at your desired location May 10th – May 12th, post your race time and compete with supporters from around the world!
 
Sign up to join The RACE, pledge support or become a valuable sponsor and join thousands in honoring survivors, remembering loved ones, celebrating life and most importantly, raising much needed funds to advance the fight against breast cancer in Connecticut.

Event Schedule:

6:30 am: Buses Start Transporting from the garages

6:30 am: Registration, Bib number, swag pickup

7:45 - 9:00 am:   Survivor Breakfast

8:00 am:

Silent Auction/Raffle Tent Open

Food Trucks Open

Touch A Truck Open

Merchandise Tent Open

Build in the Park Open

8:30 am:  Kids Fun Runs (1 Mile / age races)

9:00 am:  Survivor Photo

9:15 am:  Female & Male 5K Run

10:00 am: 5K Awards Ceremony

10:00 am: Beer Garden Opens

10:30 am:  1 Mile Walk & 4K Walk

11:00 am:  Silent Auction/Raffle Tent Closes

1:00 pm:  Last Shuttle
