About the Event

Beautiful Park setting car show presented by the Port 5 Naval Veterans of Bridgeport, CT. The top show vehicles compete to win one of 10 Rings to be awarded, along with many Special Awards and Field Trophies. This event has been voted one of the 10 Best Auto Shows in Connecticut by bestthingsct.com

Proceeds benefit many veteran and community charities. A short list is: Fidelco Guide Dogs, Homes for the Brave, the Men’s and Women’s Homeless Shelter, the Veteran’s Food Pantry, West Haven Veterans Hospital, CT Burns Camp Foundation and the Seymour Lions Club.

Dash Plaques & Goodie Bags to first 200 show vehicles - Food - Music - Flag Raising Ceremony to honor all veterans.

The Ladies Auxiliary will have a bake sale and a large selection of raffle baskets with fabulous prizes. Food sold will include egg sandwiches, hot dogs, hamburgers, and other hot sandwiches.

The Park has many free events from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Features blacksmithing, model trains, art show, rose garden, live music, demonstrations and tours of historic buildings. The Friends of Boothe Park cordially invite you to a FREE day of fun at the 2024 Park Opening and Antique Car Show at 5800 Main Street, Stratford, CT on Sunday, May 19, 2024.

-- Car Show begins at 9:00 AM.
-- Flag Raising Ceremony in honor of all of our veterans at NOON, at the Park Entrance.
-- Welcome with Mayor Laura Hoydick.
-- Events from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
-- Student Art Show in the Pavilion and in the Chapel.
-- Balloon Man for the kids.
-- All Museum Buildings open for tours.
-- Boothe Rose Garden.
-- Astronomy Building, Railroad Museum, Ham Radio Club, Veterans Museum.
-- Stratford Community Band from 1:00 to 3:00 PM.
-- FREE birthday cake and lemonade outside the Homestead!

$20 per show vehicle - no cut-off year!
