AARP Long Island and the American Red Cross presents a Home Fire Safety community presentation, for all ages, on how people can protect themselves and their families and prevent home fires, escape from a home fire, and recover after a home fire. Protect your LifeLong Home! The American Red Cross will also discuss their work in rallying volunteers to install free smoke alarms nationwide, as part of the American Red Cross/Sound the Alarm events. They will discuss the program and its free smoke alarms, info to create escape plans and share fire safety information.
